Live-Edge Breakfast Bar and Custom Millwork

A neat little project for some delightful clients. A Douglas Fir live-edge breakfast bar and kitchen shelves as well as some custom milled door casing and framing transformed this somewhat common looking interior into a very special space with heart, warmth and life. 

All finished with an environmentally and health friendly German natural wax/oil product which brings out the beauty and color of the wood while protecting it, without suffocating it in a high gloss plastic finish which erases the natural feel and look of the wood. 

Small additions that had a huge impact on the ambiance of the kitchen and living room. This project is a prime example of how you can change your interior’s appearance with a few small changes, affordable to the budget.
