Entrance & Bathroom Renovation

The project included moving a wall and several windows, to expand the bathroom into a beautiful, rejuvenating, bathing space, tastefully combined with a functional utility room.

All cabinets were custom made from Sapele and detailed with colorful and rich-grained fir grown and milled on Pender and included one cabinet with a stunning live-edge fir slab counter top. Ceilings were re-done with pine tongue and groove and the walls finished in luxurious, completely non-toxic clay plaster. The tub is nestled in a comforting and healing bath nook with a beautiful view of the forest greenery. The entrance greets visitors with the drama of textured, hand plastered walls and a Shoji screen sliding door closet.

What I loved about this project was witnessing the transformation of a space that was the owner’s least favourite room into their favourite space, and experiencing that satisfaction along-side them, becoming great friends in the process. A job blessed with good vibes and positive energy.
